He was David Lorber-Rolnik's father.

Szyja Rolnik was born in Opole in 1885 and married to Rajzla and they lived in Chelm. He survived the war because he flew to Vilnus before Chelm's Dead March. In this city he worked in a industry which made radios, probably Phillps.  After the war he went to Israel,probably via China. He passed away in Petach Tikwa in the 70's.
