According to Shrulke Trager, he was among ten Jews that were murdered by the Nazi as a punishment for a German having been killed.
Ita Binstock (nee Perlmutter) was born in in 1900 in the village of Skrovonoche 7km from Chelm. She was murdered at Sobibor along with her daughers Mania, Sheyva.
Motl and Ita had 6 children: 4 daughters and 2 sons.
Their daughter Sonia, the eldest, was the only member of the family who survived by war by having been smuggled into Russia.
