Hello,
Since I took upon myself the task of developing and maintaining this site, there have been a number of significant changes within the Chelmer organization:
This site is a token to the shift that the orgnization has taken with the inclusion of the second generation of Chelmers into the volunteering framework.
- We had a moving memorial service, and you are welcomed to read more about it in the "News" section.
- The goals put into place when our organization became an official non-profit organization are beginning to become noticed.
- We have gotten in touch will all members and updated their contact information.
- As was mentioned at the memorial service, a shift must be made in order to further include the younger generation.
- We will also continue orgnization yearly holiday celebration such as Purim and Chanuka, in line with this goal. Provided there will be enough interest, we will organize a root mission to Chelm.
- Our project of documenting Chelmers describe life in the city has begun. We need your help to move forward quickly with this project, since its urgency is clear. Benzty has been the only person moving this project along and your assistance will be welcome and appreciated.
- We would like as many photos and stories of Chelm as possible to be included on the site.
